Can I listen to recitations offline?

Yes. Play a supported recitation while connected to the internet and Nur can save the recitation on your device for offline playback.

How do I know a recitation is available offline?

Nur displays the download status beneath the selected reciter. Once saved, the recitation can be played without an internet connection.

Can I change the reciter?

Yes. Use the reciter selector in the Quran reader to choose from the available reciters.

Does Nur contain advertisements?

No. Nur is completely ad-free.

Can I change how the Quran is displayed?

Yes. Nur includes Arabic-only reading, translation, transliteration, Tafsir, Tajweed colours and adjustable text size.

Audio & Download Help

If a recitation does not play or download, check that your device has an active internet connection and sufficient available storage. Try reopening the Surah and starting the recitation again.

Previously downloaded recitations are designed to remain available when your device is offline.
